Cancellation Policy
Supervised Parent/Child Visitation Booking Policy Cancellations & Rescheduling Visits canceled due to illness must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice due to illness, you may be required to provide a doctor’s note. Visits canceled for other appointments or reasons must be rescheduled at least 1 week in advance. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a $50 per hour no-show fee. No-Shows & Missed Court-Ordered Visits Missing a court-ordered visit without good cause is considered a violation of your visitation agreement. All missed visits are documented and reported to the appropriate parties (e.g., GAL, attorneys, or court). After two consecutive missed visits, a doctor’s note will be required before visitation can resume. Arrival & Supervision Protocols Visiting parents must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled visit start time. For children under age 5, or in cases involving no-contact orders, the child must be dropped off 30 minutes prior. Visits will start and end promptly based on the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in shortened visits or rescheduling. Payment Policy Payment for supervised visits is due at the time of the visit. Only cash or cashier’s checks (payable to Roots on the Road) are accepted. If your balance becomes more than 15 days overdue, visitation may be placed on temporary hold until payment is received in full. Additional Guidelines All participants are expected to follow the supervised visitation rules and guidelines as outlined by Roots on the Road. Disruptive behavior, inappropriate conduct, or failure to adhere to policy may result in the termination of services. Cancellation & No-Show Policy: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show or cancel in time may result in a $50/hour no-show fee, which must be paid before scheduling another visit.
